Chino Raises His Hand - Episode #65

This is an excerpt of Epidose #65 which will be posted on Monday Jan 25th where Jeremy interviews Jen…she was one of the volunteers who taught a creative writing class in prison.

To give some context - a group of inmates, who signed up for a creative writing class, were seated in a room and asked to introduce themselves, and because inmates don’t use their real names my son introduced himself as Chino. Shortly after the introduction he raised his hand to ask a question. It hit me right in the heart!
